(1) What is your essential question and answers?  What is your best answer and why?

My EQ is, "How can a mechanic best run a profitable auto repair shop," and my answers are a mechanic needs to identify who their customers base is and advertise to them, a auto mechanic needs to do quality work so customers return to their shop, and a mechanic should have certified staff to support their costumer needs. My best answer is "a auto mechanic needs to do quality work so customers return to their shop, I chose this answer because I could see this in most every piece of research in some way or another, even when the articles didn't have much info.

(2) What process did you take to arrive at this answer?

I arrived at this answer after I noticed that trust between a auto mechanic and their customers was needed to have continued business and success in the job.

(3) What problems did you face?  How did you resolve them?

One issue is having all of my interviews and at this time I currently do not have it resolved. Another problem was my three column chart, which i resolved after I sorted out some confusion I had about my answers.

How can an  Auto mechanic run a successful auto-repair shop?
An Auto Mechanic can best run a successful auto-repair shop by finding a target market.
The components of a target market are:

• A Strategic location

An area with a demand for the skills that I am offering

• Good accounting practices

 Accounting practices that will seek to balance revenue and expenditure with some profit margin.

• Skilled Professional Staff

Skilled staff to guarantee that the work is done to the satisfaction of the customers

• Good Human Relations

 To ensure the loyalty of the customers.

How can an Auto mechanic run a successful auto-repair shop?
An Auto mechanic can run a successful auto-repair shop by gaining trust between the mechanic and the consumer.
Throughout the different articles I had from my research, auto mechanics that would give trouble to the consumer would rise. Several articles from just the search would be titled, "How to find a auto mechanic you can trust," or something similar to that. Overall the trust would gain repeat customers along with customers referring others to the shop.

1. I didn't work on my mentor-ship during the break, as I, as well as my mentor, where busy with the holiday events.
2.The most important thing I've learned so far are the names of parts for an engine, as this is the first step of working on an engine.
